On April 24th, the Inter Tribal Health Authority eye care team (Nelson and Chantel) came up to Campbell River (Robron Centre) to complete the TeleOpthalmology eye care appointments we were booking at our AGM in March. Our members had retinal images taken of their eyes. The doctors will use these images to check for issues such as diabetes and glaucoma. We had a full day of appointments. It was such a success that we are considering have them come back up this Fall sometime to allow members who did not get their eyes tested to have an opportunity. If you didn't get your eyes tested and wish to be a part in the Fall, contact us through email or phone. For more information about what TeleOphthalmology is, go to the ITHA info site.
