NIMA Annual General Meeting and Board of Directors Election 2021

In March of 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic caused temporary closure of the NIMA office. We did not open again until June 2020, and office hours changed to by appointment only. We have implemented changes in our procedures and in our office space to comply with the Office of the Provincial Health Officer and WorkSafeBC regulations in order to keep everyone safe. Changes that affect how we operate include public gathering size limits and physical distancing requirements. For all these reasons, NIMA postponed the Annual General Meeting that was scheduled for April 2020.

The Board asked Directors whose elected terms were up in April to stay in their roles until such time as an election could be held. As the realization that the pandemic would not quickly pass became apparent, the Board put the following plan in place.
