"Riel" Talk
Did you know that NIMA staff are regularly in all the middle and high schools in Campbell River? If you have a child who is in Southgate, Phoenix, Robron, Carihi or Timberline, and you want them to be a part of our drop-in sessions, please contact us and we will let you know our schedule!
Each session focuses on a reconnection to our Métis culture, traditional activities and may include Knowledge Keepers and Ketehayak (Elders).
June 3rd will mark our year end celebration and Graduation Sashing Ceremony. This will be open to all NIMA families and all Métis SD72 student who are graduating will be honored. Lunch will be included, so mark your calendars and more details will follow.
Through this program we will be holding our first ever Summer Culture Camp, so stay tuned for the details - it is open to all NIMA members and we encourage families to come out and take part in this together.
