The North Island Métis Association (NIMA) serves the interests of Métis people residing in the North Vancouver Island area, from Campbell River to Port Hardy. NIMA is an affiliate of the Métis Nation of British Columbia. We currently run on volunteer help. Our office is open by appointment.
Every year we hold various events such as Louis Riel Day celebrations, our AGM and participate in local celebrations such as National Aboriginal Day. For pictures of past events, click on one of the social media icons in the top right-hand corner of this site. Our Flickr photo site is the icon with two dots.
